Serbian propaganda caricatures from 1912

In order to justify an invasion of Albanian inhabited regions in 1912, the Serbian authorities would publish propaganda caricatures in order to cause hatred among Serbs against Albanians. One typical caricature is this one from 1912, which was published in German newspapers which were covering Serbian atrocities against Albanians. The title is “A Serbian cultural document. How to ignite hatred against the Albanians, In: Die Neue Zeitung, No. 327, November 28, 1912“.

It is worth noting that although the article mentions “Turkish atrocities”, the perpetrators are depicted as Albanians with white hats. The original drawing was from a Belarusian image, which shows the length that Serbian authorities would go in order to create hatred and a justification of war.
