The history of Belgrades oppression of Albanian culture and identity

Written by: Agim Shehu in 2015.

“In the 1990s, Belgrade opened 4 Balkan wars one after the other, since the scope and gravity of the crime had the proportions at the start of a World War. It did not return as such because the rational forces of the world were more numerous than those with a thirst for war.

Even in the face of this bloody butchery, Belgrade has not yet asked for any apology, on the contrary, it equates itself with the victims. This means that state-owned Serbia has not only not freed itself from the criminal psychology of the past, but it still preserves that psychology for the future, to hit Independent Kosovo in all ways. The signs are not missing even though we wish they would stop, now as a useless thing for their evil. Waiting to stop the slanders and war-mongering theorizing, we are forced as Albanians to say our judgment at least in the face of their noise.

The Slavic crimes against the Albanians were so fierce and unceasing for centuries because they were supported by a great theoretical background, just as the projectiles get their power from the propellant gunpowder inside them. Its processing laboratories are like cells of monasteries and offices of academies. The Slavs in the Albanian lands lack the roots of antiquity. They only have late branches of history in their hands as evidence, and these branches, when they are shaken, drip with Albanian blood. Moreover, Mid’hat Frashëri tells them that “history does not start from the middle but from the roots”. Then they are forced to fill this historical void with hysteria theory. However, this does not bother them as they have Hitler’s philosophy: “Nations fall victim more easily to a big fraud than to a small fraud”.

This deception has deep roots in their history. From psychology, their soul has turned into philosophy, so much so that they themselves believe the lie as if it were true. “The ‘Slavic’ time is only an event in the history of Albania” writes the great scholar Hahn. Since this ‘coincidence’, at least among people on earth, is not widely believed, then they call for help from Heaven: “Listen, you Earthlings, and obey, Serbia is blessed by God!..Kosovo is the Jerusalem of Serbia…Slavic churches in Kosovo and prove this”…Further, their theory goes into practice. Kosovo gained independence and they created the gangs “Garda e Saint Lazari” etc. to regain Kosovo.

Saint Lazarus with a cross in his hand leads the gangs with knives in his hands. Icons are placed on rifle targets. But are the churches in Kosovo really Slavic? Let the Serbian scholars themselves speak with the dignity of science and neighborly humanity. In 1885, the Serbian consul in Kosovo, Simonovic, announced to Belgrade: “Serbian monasteries in Kosovo from Graçanica to that of Deçan in Pejë have been saved thanks to the Albanian captains who have preserved them with great devotion for hundreds of years”.

The Slavic researcher Petkovic adds:

“The monastery of Deçan was first built by the Catholic friar Vita from Illyrian Kotor between the years 1327-’35.” So, at least the foundations are Albanian-Illyrian. Logically, the churches and monasteries in Kosovo should be taken care of by two parties: one, the Albanian, to protect the foundations, while the other, the Slav, should protect the roof tiles. Dante in the ‘Divine Comedy’ announced in time (says especially for the Slavs today): “Christ did not say to the first believers – ‘go and tell your dreams in the sun’/ but he taught a right and fundamental lesson…” In this face of deception should we really listen to serious scholars or sclerotic priests?! But Belgrade walks in the psychology of its monks who still smell of medieval mold and soot. Let’s recall:

The work “Crown of the Mountains” by the Slav Njegoshi is inspired by a massacre of Muslims which the people know as “Christmas Eve” or “the appearance of the Turks”. The researcher Jacques le Goff in the work “Civilization of the West” shows the message that the Slavic mother tells her son: “If you want to achieve a victory, destroy everything others have built and take the soul of all the people you have defeated”! This is where their saying-proverb comes from: “Albanian is good when he is dead”.

With such gluttony, humanity is dealing with wolves in human form, even more so when the gangs call them “wolves”… It is no coincidence that the wolf is a symbol of the past, where they turn mythology into a crime theory. Philosopher Reinard Lauer in the study “Mythological creatures and arsonists” writes, among other things: “Especially among the Serbs, even before, there has been a tendency to revive old mythological traditions. They have already replaced honor and all the other virtues that poetry sings about with new interpretations of new conditions.” And below: “The hated myth of the wolf has deep roots among the Serbs. During his conversion to Christianity, he merged with the cult of Saint Sava, son of Stefan Njemaja, the first Serbian bishop and founder of the Serbian national church. Slavs have a desire to turn into a wolf and this has deep roots. During Christianity, this thirst was merged with the cult of Saint Sava, and this led to the merging of the beast and the saint into a single thing”.

The spirit of the wolf-myths has inspired one story summarized by Stanislav Krstić (1984), as explained by R. Lauer: a thief “meets a newly married couple in the mountain; I tie them to trees where I leave them until they die. He also steals the child from the parents and forces the father to roast him in the fire, while the sister has to sing and the mother has to eat her child”! (Mention for persuasive curiosity the Austro-Israeli publicist Leo Frojndrih. In the work “The Book of Accusations” he gives the first gruesome eyewitness accounts in 1913 where the barbarism on the Albanians is so similar to their legend.

We quote a little the testimony given to the author by the Slavic bandits as boast: “…We used bayonets for the children to save bullets. We put four men alive in the pit and shot them from above…When the mother saw her son who was no longer moving, she fell at the feet of the Serbian soldier with a prayer to kill him too. He tied him to a tree until he was consumed; then he sat facing the dead man and ate the bread that you had stolen from him…”.

The writer Gjojko Gjogo in a harrowing story about the wolf says the unbelievable: “The howling of the mountain wolves will be the common language of The spirit of the wolf with the Slav can also be read in the French author Ana Yelen when she describes (as in the writings of elementary school students) the Serbs in the Battle of Kosovo: “…riding on light horses of war…then they fell asleep in their blood after fighting like wolves » (the amateur «Yeleni» can also be read «Legeni»).

(Our thousand-year-old Ulqin comes before us, mostly explained with the word “Wolf”. The correct explanation is the right of linguistic historians. The Albanians only regard the wolf as evil and a curse. “Ujkuuu!”…(eat) is said to man bad; or “go, mor hey-wolf” (wolf eating)! Other evidences should be mentioned that separate the Albanian Ulqin from the Slavic wolf. The English scholar Hobhauz in Kujtimet (14) writes about Ulqin: “There were 6000 brave seamen who they inherit the habit of the ancient Illyrians, but from that harbor that was called Oleinium in ancient times… They are simple Albanians, with the ability to steer ships and sail across the seas without asking anything in advance”. Dr. Sabine Fabijanec adds: “Giovani B. Giustiniano in 1553 explains that the Latin name of Ulcinj was Olchynum», but this is another topic).

In Slavic-Greek psychology, wolves occupy people. For Albanians, people are wolves. There will be a separate story that the ruler of Gjinokastra, sh. 14, Zënëbisha has such an adjective, – Zënës bishash (the Greeks pronounce it «Zene-vizas»)! It was the time when the rule of Stefan Dushan in Albania ended. The ruler of Arta, Gjin Bua Shpata, bore the designation of “Buffalo” next to the Sword. Kaonia (today’s Labëria) was named after the ox as a saint. Plutarch says that before the last battle, the soothsayer told Pyrrhus of Epirus that he would die if he saw in the prophecy that the wolf fights with the buffalo (ox). Oxen were slaughtered as a sacrifice, and the severed heads of the oxen stuck out their tongues and licked their blood. Pyrrhus was killed in the war. Our mountaineers greet: “Are you a man!” (Pyrro), and not «are you Wolf») !

For so long, this enlightened world of Albanians has had the tales of Slavic-Greek monks united with the fantasies of writers and the manifestos of fanciful academics. All three together move to the theories of the state. After such documents that have been announced worldwide, the Slavic crime not only cannot be hidden, but the quotes prove that their crime is not a coincidence. The platform of crime was formalized as a state theory in 1844 with Garasanin’s “Načertanien” (Project), together with the Greek Megaliidhe (Great Idea) of Jani Koleti. Greater Serbia and Greater Greece lived in Shkumbin. In 1877, in the open campaign against the Albanian territories, Prince Milan gave the instruction: “The more Albanians you forcibly relocate, the greater your merits before the homeland.” Serbian Prince Mihajlo Obrenovic on March 2, 1878 signed the “Law on the Colonization of Foreigners”.

On January 3, 1880, under the leadership of Prince Milan Obrenovic, the law “On the colonization of new lands” was added. On February 20, 1914, Pjetri I Karagjergović issued the new Ordinance “On the Colonization of the United States of Serbia”. Serbian Jovan Vasiljevic in the “Albanska Liga” in 1909 theorizes the migration of Albanians from Sanjak i Nis: “After the decisions of the Congress of Berlin, all the lands of the Albanians should be returned to Serbia and its war in the future should be returned from Kosovo… Serbian peace and authority… The expulsion should be done with military forces”. After this theory turned into robbery, the neighboring Serbs marched drunk with knives in their mouths hysterically singing the song: “Forward, forward, Prizren is waiting for me/; it’s mine, we’ll go to my hearth”!

In 1937, in his program “The Liberation of the Albanians”, named Çubrilović announced: “Since 1918, it has been the duty of our state to erase the Albanian Triangle.” Our country has not achieved this. The only way and the only means to carry it out has been and remains the violent force of the organized state” (the academic author continued as an all-powerful minister in Tito’s government). Since September 1944 (having the Albanian partisan brigades on his side) he reinforced the “Solution of on the issue of minorities in Yugoslavia” gave his official prophecy: “Yugoslavia can achieve peace and ensure development if it becomes ethnically clean. The army must root out and mercilessly cleanse the minorities in the areas we want to colonize with our national race” (Commissioner of Division III Partisan from Albania, Ramiz Alia did well the task given to him by Belgrade, especially with 8 thousand Kosovar boys treacherously killed in the massacre of Tivar).

Čubrilović adds in point 4: “This work will be done quickly so that Europe can face the fait accompli” (this is what Milosevic did). Point 7: “The Albanians of the compact provinces on the border with Albania present a special danger.” 8: “Kosovo and the Dukagjin Plain are strategic centers of the Balkans, so the Albanians must be mercilessly expelled from those lands as well as from Pollogu, so that Old Serbia and Macedonia can be cleansed of Albanians, ethnically changing this area at its roots” and more further instructs: “But it is impossible for the Albanians to retreat only through colonization step by step…Wars are the most suitable moment for solving these concerns. What in times of peace takes decades or centuries, with war is done within months or years… We have to solve this now that it is war! Otherwise, we may not have such a case again” (November 1944). In the church-science-state chain, a way had to be opened for “wolf” bandits. On November 21, 1944, the leadership of AVNOJ pardoned all the Chetniks with whom they agreed in the disappearance of the Albanians, and they put the red star on the king’s sign!

In January 1945, the academician-minister further announced the theory “the expulsion of the Albanians, Germans and Hungarians” where he emphasized: “The expulsion of the Albanians must be done with greater tactics and wisdom than the expulsion of the Germans and Hungarians”! For these purposes the monks had the monasteries; writers – salons; academics – clubs. Such was the Serbian Club of Culture in Belgrade, 1937-39. There, theories were exchanged on how to make the Albanians disappear faster and more radically. We quote something from their discussions generally speaking. Dr. B. Panjevac, General Secretary of State Statistics, among other things said: “Our biggest danger is a (Albanian) space in Kosovo… This linguistic minority can become very active, dangerous if we do not take forward-looking action in time” . General Çemerikiq: “Extermination and colonization can and must be implemented only with military force”, complementing the opinion of a pro-Serbian European general, Herri (or Horri!): – “There is only one solution to the Albanian problem – Albania without Albanians!”.

Orestie Krstiq: “The monochromatic Albanian environment can be broken by the economic pressure of colonization, and I support the idea of moving them to other parts of the country and to the outside world by taking their lands by force. To open the Institute for the disintegration of dense Albanian environments and the creation of agrarian funds to buy the lands which, due to the economic narrowing, will be forced to sell them… He who would successfully solve this issue would do the immortal work for our people Slavic”. Their other researcher, Gjeorge Krstić: “Agrarian reform and colonization have had enough to change the structure of the population to the detriment of Albanians”. Further, a Gjoka Perina: “This colonization can only be achieved with 470 thousand Serbian settlers expelling 300 thousand Albanians.” As something foreign to us, they represent a national and political danger today; they are many in number, strong and compact… This population relies on Albania (of King Zog), which has political influence and awakens desires in them”.

Pasic struggled to fill the mind of the world, and in the French newspaper “Le Temps” he wrote: “Albanians have neither literature nor alphabet for their language, so they cannot form a human kingdom. For this, Albania should be divided between Greece and Serbia”! The researcher Protičič adds: “They have never risen to the level of a national whole… In Albania there is no trace of national civilization” (today Nikolič reinforces: “Albanians want centuries to be able to become a state…”). Repetition of their earlier theories. Vl. Gheorgjevic said: “Albanians do not show any ability to become a common state unit”. For a convincing counterpoint, we only quote the well-known Austrian scholar Karl Treimer: “The first Albanians of today were the bearers of a large, powerful State and the creators of the European culture of the Iron Age, that is, of a culture of high quality”. The Croatian humanitarian scholar Milan Shuflaj asserted: “Albania was from the beginning, in cities and fields, a state and a truly civilized country” (also for this, the Serbs killed him in the arms). Edwin Jacques, American historian adds: “This ancient Pelasgian people marks an earlier date than the development of the civilizations of Greece and Rome.”

The Slavic-Greek theorists aimed to dry the branches of genetic and historical vitality of the Albanians by destroying the roots of antiquity and humiliating them as non-human, foreign to Europe. That’s why they said that “Albanians came from the Caucasus…”!! “A people who came from Asia to sh. 7-8 after Kr.” said Neoklis of Athens in 1855. Vladan Gjeorgjevic added: “Albanians are primitive people who slept on trees holding themselves by their tails…” Mid’hat Frashëri replied with sharp irony: “Perhaps the honorable old man, writing the quoted passage, had a reminiscence of the origin of from a monkey or from some lemur that lived in the forest”. Fishta answered: “When the Slavs came from the Ural caves, the Albanians had completed the two-thousand-year cycle of the ancient civilization.” De Rada judged: “The roots of the Albanian nation are ancient, since Alexander the Great and Pyrrhus of Epirus”. Konica further: “The nation of Diocletian, of the philosopher Julien, of Justinian, a nation which had its own civilization when the grandparents of the French and the English wore buffalo skins and stayed in caves.”

If these are taken as monogamous Albanians, we quote foreigners further. The German scholar Stefen Schvarc writes cutting the food of crime with theories of criminals: “Albanians will not be allowed to remain under Serbia! They have paid with blood for the freedom they seek..Three thousand years ago when we were hanging from the trees, their ancestors, the Illyrians, had their own culture”. We add further.

In 1332, Archbishop Gulielm Adam reported to the Vatican what he saw with his eyes: “The entire Kingdom of Raša (Serbia) is composed of village houses and huts, without protective channels and without internal walls. The buildings and buildings, both of the King and the nobles, are made of straw and boards. You don’t see palaces and stone houses anywhere… You only see these in the Latin (Illyrian) coastal cities”.

Out of the swampy rage for such lacks, the eyes of the Argatian Slavs hurt when they saw works of art that could not fit within their noble beauties. For this, the English diplomat V. Temperli in the “History of Serbia” notes:

“The Slavs destroyed the wonderful monuments of Roman civilization, genius creatures of the great Illyrian Emperors, Diocletian and Justinian”. On the contrary, for the Albanian race, Hahn says: “An aristocratic feature stands out in the behavior and thinking of the Albanians”. Researcher James Baker, in 1877 in “Turkey in Europe”: “A physically excellent human race, the Albanian can be called one of the purest and most ancient races in Europe”. Very beautiful, as Konica also quotes, the description that the English journalist gave to the German scientist Virhov when he was studying the skeletons of the Albanians in 1877. He saw them with adoring children’s joy and said: “Look at them, aren’t they beautiful, aren’t they magnificent?!.. This is the superior race, even much superior than all other races…” The journalist adds: Every time he spoke about the Albanian race, he expressed himself with overwhelming joy, touching the skulls of the Albanians sweetly and lovingly again, with his fingers from the philosopher and the noble”.

Slavic theories of crime continue in the blood of the ancestors. V. Gjeorgjevic in “Albania and the Great Powers” (published not coincidentally before the London Conference) announced: “Albanians are not a nation but a mixture of tribes with no common gene, no unified language, no history, no homeland. They cannot be called a nation because the nation is a political entity, while the Albanians are still at a level of prehistoric culture, which have neither in their character nor in their qualities the ability to become a constituent element of the state… For this reason, the independence of Albania or the formation of an independent Albanian state is not only impossible but also dangerous for the Balkans and for Europe” (The Notebook of the League of Nations published in Geneva in 1922 assessed the opposite for Albania when it was being recognized by the Peace Conference: ” Not only does the Albanian nation exist, but its existence is necessary from an international point of view”).

It is no coincidence that the Slavic theses in the North were answered, like two similar points of poison, by the same Greek theses in the South. On the eve of the Congress of Berlin in 1878 (as published by Jani Vreto in “Apology for Abdyl Frashër”), the Greek newspaper Neologos in Istanbul published with an anonymous signature – An Epirotas: “Each nation, in order to have its demands taken into account, must have a past to give evidence, at least for the future! But such are those peoples who have a history, political existence, literature and all that flows from these, which the Albanian people who came from the Caucasus lack”.

The same Greek spirit continues with the newspaper “Estia” on November 8, 1934: “…a state that was created only for diplomatic reasons and which until today has not even been able to morally justify its existence”. However, within official Greece, Serbia’s loyal friend, the defamation is opposed by dignified and humane science. The Great Greek Encyclopedia, Vol. 19, p. 873 writes: “The ancestors of today’s Albanians, the Pelasgians, in prehistoric times lived in most of the world that was known then, developing a very important civilization and creating works of extraordinary value”.

The Roman Titus Livy in the work “A burbe Condita” testifies that the Pelazgo-Illyrian Etruscans “…even from the end of the 4 before Kr. educated the Roman youth in their schools”. The Italian researcher A. Baldaci adds to the work “Albania..”: “The irrefutable assessment of Albania as a separate nation can be denied only by those who have interests in its dismemberment”. Furthermore, the French scholar Robert D’Angeli in “The Enigma Solved”: “The current experience of the Albanian state (of King Zog) completely refutes the Serbian theories which deny Albanians patriotic feelings and all national unity”.

Gheorgjevic gave his racist theory a murderous dynamic: “The more general the clash between their (Albanian) leaders, the closer we are to achieving our goal.” The writer Ivo Andriçi continues, who also quotes the theory of state Pashiç: “We want an independent Albania, but a weak and unformed Albania. But time has shown that this cannot be done. The weak and unstable Albania has been forced to look for help and protection wherever it could find it… With the capture of Albania, the incentive center for the Albanian minority in Kosovo would disappear, which in the future would be easily dissolved… The independence of a country against other countries others all have a relative meaning.

The existence of an independent Albanian state is acceptable to us, but this state must always remain weak and in disintegration”. (this racist writer Shoven was inadvertently awarded the Nobel Prize for his murderous theories about the peaceful neighbor). Since 1937, Čubrilović extended the metastases of the theory more practically: “This work in Tirana will proceed with difficulty because Italy will hinder here, but money does a lot of work! By means of secret threads, our key people in Tirana can be set in motion, so that they do not oppose this work” (those “threads” of agents are still in the governments of Tirana, as a reflection of the situation of Albania today). The former Serbian socialist, Dimitri Tucovic, in the work “Serbia and the Albanians” says that there will be no place like Albania where so many foreign agents work!

A Serbian Club of 1937 announced a strange competition for the expulsion of Albanians: “He who will successfully solve this concern would do the most immortal work for our people”. The winner among the most valuable received the reward: Dr. Milan Obradović, son of a Serbian colony in Kosovo, receives a special decoration for the agrarian reforms between the two World Wars; for the relocation of 255,878 Kosovo Albanians. In the Serbian offices, new decorations are being prepared, unfortunately for the Albanians too!

With such theories, Serbia narrowed the Albanians and expanded itself. The Slavic researcher Joavan Haxhivasillaq openly stated in 1909 about the expulsion of Albanians from Nishi, Prekuplja, Kurshumlia, Leskovci, Vranja, Toplica, that this was done “to create a pure Serbian national state from Serbia, to cleanse the country of those who are not Christians, so that the action of Serbia would then turn in the direction of Kosovo and that the Albanian population would be removed by means of rape”. Pursuant to these theories, Serbia with the law of March 2, 1878 “For the colonization of foreigners” in three days occupied 648 Albanian settlements in Sanxhak and Nis, and as M. Dj asserts. Milicevic, “Serbia won 10,972 km. square”.

In 1939, official Serbian statistics gave 900 thousand Albanians in Kosovo. In 1948, he gave 498 thousand. Where did more than 400,000 people lose in 9 years when the population of Kosovo has the largest birth rate in Europe and when the Serbs themselves cry that the Kosovar woman is defeating us by “shooting” us with her legendary births!? Not satisfied with these, the cut was extended further south towards Kosovo, forcing London-based Albania to breathe laboriously with one lung. The official killers of the Great Powers were aware of the crime against a nation that had sacrificed for Europe, and especially for its ungrateful neighbors.

The French scholar Citrien Robert in 1852 wrote about the Albanians: “This race has been predestined to open the boulevards of Greco-Slavic freedoms”. But the diplomats of murderous policies did not listen to this. They implemented the Shoven theories of Belgrade and Athens. E. Grej, after leading the partition of Albania, in his “Memories” in 1927 affirms with belated and cynical regret: “I am convinced that when everything will be learned, this decision will be criticized and rightly so, from all sides… What about the borders of Albania should be kept in mind that the main reason they split was to prevent clashes between the Great Powers”.

The French statesman and senator Justin Gottard responded with more dignity and anger to this crime beyond belief in 1921: “If you observe the toys of secret treaties, it is surprising how they dare to take fate into their hands of peoples, without judgment of reason and without a drop of self-consciousness…” Aware that breathing through wounds is the true breathing of torn peoples, Gottard adds in a humane voice to Prometheus: “In truth, it is Albania that must sue and tell them great nations – you have oppressed me r, you have destroyed me, you have torn me apart, you have eaten each other with the pieces of my lands and now you are the ones who are daring to rebuke me! Against Albania, the great nations have the duty to perform a just and honest deed, to correct the wrongs done to them. Today they are morally obliged to Albania”. Condemning the intrigues and murders and violating the slanderous theories about Albanians, Diplomat, Senator and French Nobelist D’Estorunelles De Costant further judges: “We have let Albania sink deeper and deeper into confusion and anarchy…Albania has the right to live. Its people are European”.
