On November 27, 1913, on page 4, an article by “Journal des débats politiques et littéraires” was published, refering to the statement made by Isa Boletini for the newspaper “Narodni List”, which, Aurenc Bebja, via the “Dars” Blog (Klos), Mat – Albania”, brought it to the Albanian public. The article reads as follows:
“The statement was receieved in Belgrade, November 26. We are telegraphed from Shkodra that Isa Boletini, the current minister of war of the government of Vlora, is currently in this city in a serious state of health. The famous Albanian chief made the following statements to the correspondent of the newspaper “Narodni List”, from Fiume:

“I am sick at the moment when they need my help the most; but I hope to recover as soon as possible to return to the war. I will fight until my last breath and until there are armed Albanians, so the Balkans will not live in peace. I have said this in Europe, I repeat it in front of you today. Even, what do the Serbs want in Kosovo?” The newspapers in Belgrade, which reproduce this statement, wonder if Austria will find another pretext, when Isa Boletini will execute his threats, to prevent Serbia from defending herself against her aggressors.”
