The discovery of a mass grave of Albanian women and children in Kukës,Terthorja, killed by Serbian forces in 1912

It is one of those cases, the traces of which have not been erased even by time. All the towns of the Luma province were under occupation by the Serbs in 1912, but Tërthorja, one of the most interesting municipalities in Kukës, was completely exterminated.”

In the 1970s, during the excavations for the village’s water supply, the workers managed to discover whole pits where the bodies of the inhabitants massacred by the Serbs rested: children, women and men dressed as they were at the time of execution. Genocide on a large scale. All the villages were burned. The crossing lies today, on both sides of the border. In Kosovo, there are 6 villages. In Albania four. Journalist Ilnisa Agolli tells us all through this road. Visiting Pëbregu, Bardhoc and Morin, which was the first village in ’99 that returned to the home of our Kosovar brothers.”
