“It is one of those cases, the traces of which have not been erased even by time. All the towns of the Luma province were under occupation by the Serbs in 1912, but Tërthorja, one of the most interesting municipalities in Kukës, was completely exterminated.”

In the 1970s, during the excavations for the village’s water supply, the workers managed to discover whole pits where the bodies of the inhabitants massacred by the Serbs rested: children, women and men dressed as they were at the time of execution. Genocide on a large scale. All the villages were burned. The crossing lies today, on both sides of the border. In Kosovo, there are 6 villages. In Albania four.
