In 1913, Radnicke Novine wrote: "Serbian officers did in Macedonia what the Vandals did in ancient times when they took Rome. They plundered the goods and property of the Turks (Albanians) living in the Turkish lands they invaded. Not content with the torture and massacre they inflicted, they took everything they found, food, goods, jewelry and animals, and took them to Serbia. They sold it very cheaply there.”

Serbian newspaper Radniçke Novine in 1912: “The Serbs did in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia what the Vandals did in ancient time when they took Rome”

In 1913, the Serbian newspaper “Radniçke Novine” wrote about the plunder of the Serbs as follows:

Serbian officers did in Macedonia what the Vandals did in ancient times when they took Rome. They plundered the goods and property of the Turks (Albanians) living in the Turkish lands (Kosovo Vilayet and Macedonia) they invaded. Not content with the torture and massacre they inflicted, they took everything they found, food, goods, jewelry and animals, and took them to Serbia. They sold it very cheaply there.”
