Bajram Rame Muriqi was a prominent Albanian nationalist warrior from Rugova. He spent 20 years in prison never submitting to the Serbian government. Throughout his life, he held national ideals high, everywhere he went and everyone he met, he encouraged and awakened feelings of patriotism. When the second world war began, he joined the national resistance, acting like his predecessors, who were a terror to the enemy. He died in 1981 from the snow avalanche in the legendary Koshutan region, leaving a legacy for generations.
