Reverend Thomas Smart Hughes (1786-1847): “Vast number of Albanians live in Attica and Athens in Greece”

According to everend Thomas Smart Hughes (1786-1847), during his travel in Greece, he was surprised to find a vast number of Albanians deep in Greek territoriy in regions like Attica and Athens.

This passage clearly shows that in the 19th century, Albanians were a large minority group in Greece.
