Pajazit (Isa) Boletini (1901-1963)

Pajazit Isa Boletini (1901-1963) was the fifth son of Isa Boletini, and he began his education in Boletini and graduated from the Military Academy in Vienna, Austria with the rank of Captain. After the First World War and the capitulation of Austria-Hungary, Pajaziti was arrested and held in a Bulgarian prison and later in the territory of the Serbs, Slovenes, Croats, Pajaziti retired. After the arrival of Germany in our lands after the strengthening of Albanian institutions, Pajaziti was elected Commander of the Albanian Gendarmerie in the Government of Xhafer Deva (1941-1945).

After the Capitulation of Germany, he left for Egypt to King Farouk because they had a good friendship, there he married the sister of King Zog in 1951 after the overthrow of Farouk by Nasser, Pajaziti, complete with Zog’s Royal Choir, left for France. He worked for many years at the International Red Cross in the triangle: Italy, France, Germany. Pajaziti died in 1963 in Nice, France.
