Cor-Suljov or “Qorr Sula” (lit. Blind Sula) was an Albanian peasant from Shkodër. He was involved in a blood fued after his brother was killed by a Turk and Sula vowed vengance.1
“Near Shkoder, a Turk killed Cor-Suljov’s brother. The killer, knowing what kind of hero Suljo was, was not allowed to leave his house. Cor-Suljo, having convinced himself that he would not be caught outside the house, went to his house. He grabbed the house, broke the blanket and other things that bothered him, and then he looked at his executioner sitting in thought.”2
