The name Beusas, genus Beusantis, is usually found among the Illyrian tribe of the Delmates, it can be compared with the Bosa of the Mesape, with the Buzetius of the Japodes and with the Busio of the Pannons, all of these Illyrian tribes. In Krajë we have the village of Besa/Besi, apparently a name with origins dating back to antiquity. Also with this name is the Besac castle in Vir-pazar, etc.
