From Greek propaganda of 1802, by a certain Nektarios from Bythinia (Turkey) where he says:

“Note, that this Quadrilingual Dictionary has been compiled solely and exclusively for the purpose that the children of Moesia (where Serbia is today) may be taught the Roman (Greek) language, after having been trained through it to distinguish and understand each word.”

What is interesting is the fact that only the Vlach, Bulgarian, Romaic (Greek) and Albanian languages ​​are included, but not Serbian.

“This is a page from a quadrilingual lexicon, featuring words in four languages: Greek (referred to as “Ρωμαίικα” or “Romaic”), Aromanian (“Βλάχικα” or “Vlach”), Bulgarian (“Βουλγαρικά”), and Albanian (“Αλβανιτικά”). Below is a translation of the key elements of the text:
