“To my friends, the gentlemen…

Having completed twenty-five years of service to this esteemed body and duties of the most dignified magistracy, I take leave with deep sorrow. During this time, I have always strived to carry out my duties with utmost integrity, and I now retire from the office, comforted by the honor of having served this noble tribunal. I step down with reverence, knowing that I have faithfully fulfilled my obligations as best as possible.

I bid farewell to my esteemed colleagues and the distinguished gentlemen who have accompanied me throughout these years.
