Enver Murseli killed in 1999 by Serbian war criminals

THOSE DAYS OF APRIL. (Poem dedicated to Enver Murseli, killed in April 1999 by Serbian paramilitaries.):

“Enver, many years have passed
Since we never saw each other
The family and all of us miss you
Your smile keeps us alive.
We remember like today, your generosity
Sincerity, honor and manliness
Humanity, honor and pride
Humor, laughter and love.
That March day for the last time
When we saw each other together at the river
You told me that good days are not expected
We have prepared rifles and scimitars.
Black clouds had gathered everywhere
In Llashtica, and over our country
The bloody enemy rushed like a hyena
They made Kosovo bleed everywhere.
In the terrible days of April 99
They took the lives of our loved ones
All innocent, 25 of them were killed
You too Enver, you were taken from life.
Enver, your work and example
Among us with beautiful memories lives
Your descendants, Sadiku, Bardhyli, Astriti,
Bukurija, remember you with love and longing.”
