The municipality of Pogradec¹, named after an old castle located higher up on the nearby mountain, the ruins of which can still be seen, has 310 houses, of which 190 belong to Muslim Albanians, 90 to Christian Albanians, and 30 to Romanians. Among the Muslims, many of them cultivate feelings of Albanian nationality.”
