According to the Hungarian newspaper “Delmagyarorszag” from 1913, the Albanians of Hoti and Gruda resisted the Montenegrin invasion troops of 1913.

“THE MALISZORS AGAINST MONTENEGRO.

Cetinje, August 12: The following is reported about the fighting on the southern border of Montenegro: Larger groups of the Hoti and Grudi tribes started fighting against the Montenegrin troops on Sunday, after there had already been insignificant scattered skirmishes the previous week. On Sunday and Saturday, the two Malisori tribes marched together against the Montenegrins. They fired at each other for hours. Among the Montenegrins, four people were seriously injured and one was slightly injured. The loss of malisers is unknown.”
