When an Albanian opposed the Montenegrin imperialism in 1885

A report from Cataro in 1885 stated that an Albanian fired several shots at a Montenegrin official named Pllamenac during a meeting. The Albanian oppos ed the Montenegrin border changes which meant that Albanian land would be taken.

“Cataro, 24th of October. According to reports from Cettinje, an Albanian fired several revolver shots at War Minister Plamenac, President of the Border Regulation Commission of Montenegro, yesterday. Plamenac remained unharmed. The assassin confessed that he belonged to a conspiracy directed against the border adjustment.”
