It would take the Serbian government chamber 2 years until Serbian atrocities against the Albanians were even brought up. And although the spokesperson used “mitigating terms”, that is to say “careful”, the statements were not oppossed. This means that the Serbian government knew absolutely in detail what the Serbian army and soldiers had been doing to Albanians for several years. In the end, they chose to do nothing.
In the publication “Jahrbuch des völkerrechts”, Volume 2, Part 2, published 1915, we can read:
“1) The Serbian cruelties against the Albanians were publicly accused of the government in the Serbian Chamber in February 1914, albeit in mitigating terms, and this was not contradicted. During 1913, they were widespread throughout European circles.”
