Petrit Latifi

In 1915, native Albanians of Prizren entered the city for a gathering. However, they were betrayed by Serbian spies who alerted the gendarmeries. The Serb troops arrived and a fight ensued in which the Albanians came out victorious.

“The Albanian Correspondence reports on the Albanian invasion in the Prizrend district: A gathering of Albanians had been betrayed by Serbian spies. The authorities surrounded the Albanians and a fight ensued, during which the Albanians managed to defeat the soldiers and escape to Albania.”
