Albanian freedom fighters clashed with Serb gendarmeries in Peshkopi on April 20, 1932, and this was used by Belgrade to spread lies of an alleged Albanian uprising.

A clash between gendarmes and two kachaks in the Peshkopi area, which took place on April 20, was used as an excuse to spread reports that contradict the facts at all times.”
