Serbian lies in 1932: Albanian Uprising

Petrit Latifi

Albanian freedom fighters clashed with Serb gendarmeries in Peshkopi on April 20, 1932, and this was used by Belgrade to spread lies of an alleged Albanian uprising.

“Supposedly no unrest in Albania,

Vienna, April 30. Official Albanian sources state: The reports from Belgrade media about the outbreak of unrest in Albania are fabricated. A clash between gendarmes and two kachaks in the Peshkopi area, which took place on April 20, was used as an excuse to spread reports that contradict the facts at all times.”
