Petrit Latifi

In 1927, 20 Albanian kachak fighters entered the Albanian region of Gora within Yugoslav territory, and were engaged by Yugoslav gendarmeries.

“Reports from Belgrade: A twenty-man Kachak gang managed to penetrate the band from the Albanian border, where they had hidden in the forests of Sava Gora. Gendarmeries were notified of the Kachak incursion, attacked them, who defended themselves with rifle fire and bombs. Yesterday evening, the battle was still ongoing. Two Yugoslav gendarmes were wounded.”
