In 1912, Innsbrucker Nachrichten published an article writing that the Serbian ambassador in Vienna submitted a complaint to the local Foreign Office regarding the Greek invasion of an Albanian village near Leshnicë e Sipërme, modern day Vlorë.

“A Serbian complaint. Vienna, December 28. The Serbian ambassador in Vienna has submitted a note of complaint to the local Foreign Office regarding the annexation of an entire Albanian village near Leshnicë e Sipërme by the Greeks”.
