Albanian musician Jahja Osman Xharra (1822-1926)

Written by Petrit Latifi

Jahja Osman Xharra – Old singer and instrumentalist from the city of Gjakova. He was born in Gjakova, in a bourgeois family. He was the owner of the mill in the village of Ramajë in the Municipality of Gjakova. In the area where he lived, it was impossible not to be present at family celebrations as an interpreter of the Gjakova civic song.
