In 1914, the Albanian forces defended Leskovik from Greek invasion forces resulting in the Greeks being defeated and fleeing. This according to an article in the “Innsbrucker Nachrichten” from 1914.

Cited:

“The Greek machinations in Epirus. – An Albanian victory. Durazzo, April 24. According to a report from Korcë, approximately 1,000 insurgents have gathered near Biglishta to advance against Korcë. However, the Albanian forces in Korcë and the surrounding area are large enough to repel any insurgent attack. A meeting took place near Leskoviki between Albanians and a force of 400 regular Greek soldiers. The camp, in which the Albanians were victorious, ended with the Greeks fleeing”.
