Petrit Latifi

In 1914, Greek troops committed various atrocities against Albanians of the southern part of modern day Albanian and northern part of Greece. This was reported by “Innsbrucker Nachrichten”.

“A telegraph is sent from Vlorë: The news about the misery of the southern Albanian population is becoming increasingly bleak. In the Kitschi area, five villages have been burned down by the insurgents, eleven in Kurvelesh, eight in the Tepeleni district, and 22 in the Strapari district.”
