In 1913, Serbia, after having invaded Albanian and Macedonian territories, acquired roughly 50,000 km² of land. This according to an article in the “Lienzer Nachrichten” in 1913.

“Serbia previously had 48,303 square kilometers with 2,957,207 inhabitants. It will receive part of the Vilayet of Monastir, almost the entire Vilayet, together with Kosovo and part of the Vilayet of Thessaloniki, around 50,000 square kilometers with 1,472,000 inhabitants. The new Serbia will therefore cover 98,000 square kilometers and have 4,430,000 inhabitants”.
