G. Novak: Justiniana Prima Dardanians remained the same until Justinian I (527-565 AD)

Authored by Shqipe Hoxha. Translation Petrit Latifi

G. Novak emphasizes:

“…the Dardanians were a people in their own right, who had remained (with the same ethnonym and toponymy) until the time of Justinian I (527-565 AD) when in their homeland – Justinian himself was also born there, he founded the city – Justiniana Prima” connecting the Dardanians of Troy (Troad) with the Balkan Dardanians, since they also have the same ethnogenesis, the inheritance of their apologetic lineage towards the great movements in their three northern, eastern and western directions of the Balkans and the Apennines.”
