The Albanian villages of Ribarica and Cmanke in Raska in the 1850s

In the book “Сербски лѣтопис за год”, Volume, 97–100, from 1858, we can read an interesting passage about the Albanian villages Cmanke and Ribarica of Raska of modern day Serbia.

“In Raska, two hours from Novi Pazar, there is an Albanian tavern that looks like a layer of hay from afar. From this tavern, to the right, you can see Mount Crna, and from there, for another hour, you can see Kozin Vrha. From this mountain, you can see the Albanian villages of Ribarica and Cmanke.”
