Albanian hero Preng Markola from Mirdita (1830-1862)

Preng Mark Kola or Preng Markola (born 1830, Mirdita – died 1862 Vranina ) was an Albanian patriot and fighter from Mirdita who fought against Montenegrin and Ottoman invasions of Albanian lands.

In 1858, Preng Mark Kola defended Moraça from Montenegrin invasions.

In 1862, Preng Mark Kola fought and died alongside Oso Kuka defending the island of Vranina from Montenegrin imperialists. Preng Markola is mentioned in the Lahuta e Malsis.
