Documentary about the Albanian village of Strellc which had 24 Catholic families in 1340

This documentary was made by Gazetari & Produksion: Ajetë Sh. Beqiraj. “BJESHKA, with tradition towards the future”.

In this documentary we learn that three Albanian brothers – Vasa, Nika and Krasi – traveled to Albania where the tribes Curraj and Vasojevic spread. The region is located at the beginning of the Albanian Alps rising 2,600 meters above the sea.

According to the documentary, Jovan Cvijiq, Serbian geographer, stayed 4 days and nights at the “Guri i Nuses” (alb. “the brides tomb”). Cvijiq then translated to the Orthodox priest of Decani in order to discuss how to change the Albanian toponyms in the region, but failed as the Great War began.
