In the book “Dictionnaire encyclopédique des sciences médicales” by Archambault published in 1880, we can read on page 609:

“une partie de la population serbe se compose d Albanais slavisés”

Translation:

“A portion of the Serbian population consists of Slavicized Albanians.”
