Appian, says: “Illyrian had six sons, Encheleus, Autarieus, Dardanus, Mædus, Taulas, and Perrhæbus; and also as daughters, Partho, Daortho, Dassaro, and others, from whom were born the Taulans, Perrebejtes, Enkelejtes, Autarians, Dardanes, Parthines, Dasarets and Darsiit. Autarieus had a son, Pannonius or Paeon and the latter had as his sons, Scordiscus and Triballus, from whom the tribes with the same names took their name. ”
