Serbias president Alexandar Vucic blocks the transfer of fund designated for Albanian textbooks for 3,650 schoolchildren in the Presheva Valley

Kosovo has notified the EU that the Vucic regime has blocked the transfer of funds designated for Albanian-language textbooks for 3,650 schoolchildren in the Presheva Valley.

The EU officially addresses the discrimination faced by Albanians in the Presheva Valley: Albanians continued to raise concerns about the way Serbian police were checking residence status, resulting in the passivization of addresses.

National minorities in Serbia remain underrepresented in public administration and the police. Hateful rhetoric against national minorities in the media and by politicians continued. Public broadcasting services in minority languages are still not sufficient, except for some broadcasters in Vojvodina.
