The celebration of Albanian culture in Medvegja

With Albanian songs, special traditional Medvegja and characteristic Krela costumes, today in Medvegja the spirit of the cultural heritage of the Albanians of the Presevo Valley was strongly manifested, with a special emphasis on Medvegja.

In the hall of the Cultural Center, Albanian dances, qiftelia, songs and melodies echoed, bringing a lively and proud atmosphere to all participants. The Albanian National Council and its representatives expressed themselves more proud than ever of the Albanian national heritage and identity.

This activity was held within the framework of the cultural program “November Valley”, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Albania, under the monitoring of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgrade, as well as with the support of the Albanian National Council.
