In 1615, several tribesmen of the Pastrovic (denoted s Pastrovicchi) crossed the border of Turkish Albania and attacked the Albanians of Spiç (Spizza) and killed several people. This led to the armed forces of Antivari and Ulqin responding. This according to the publication “Governare la frontiera: approcci e pratiche della dominazione veneziana nelle Bocche di Cattaro (1573‑1645)” by Michele Santoro.

The rector sent the voivode to the area with three hundred armed Stradiotti and ordered the entire population of Pastrovicchi to take refuge near the castle of Santo Stefano or Budva in case of attack.”
