Ancient inscription found in Delphi, Zeusian Dodona

by Aleksander Hasanas. Translation Petrit Latifi

“JE I PARI YNË – ZOT” (YOU ARE THE FIRST – GOD). Ancient inscription found in Delphi, Zeusian Dodona. The title that we see in large letters in this inscription on a slab stamped with the two eagles of Zeus, is written and has a clear meaning in the Albanian language.

Without further ado, the first line of the title reads: “IΣΕΠΡΥΤANEYE” which in Albanian means “IΣΕΠΡΥΤANEYE; ISEPRITANEVE = YOU ARE THE FIRST, THE PRINCIPAL, I_SIPËR_TANVE (Të të të tanē) = GOD”.

So it seems clear that the decipherment was carried out through the Albanian language: IΣΕΠΡΥΤΑΝΕΥΕ; ISEPRYTANEVE = ISE PRI TANEVE, NE KRYE, (above our) GOD HIMSELF.

The following lines on this tablet we have tried to decipher; we read them because the Greek language has not been able to say a word to this day about the decipherment of this entire ancient Dodonian inscription.

In the original the following lines are these:

“ΣΕΙ ΚΑΙ ΤΟΙΔΕΜΟΙΑΝΤΙΚΡΑΤΙΔΕΣΕ ΟΣΕΓΕΣΤΑΤΕФI.

In Delphi, according to mythology, two eagles sent by Zeus from the ends of the universe met, one from the East and the other from the West, to find the center of the world. The history of Delphi is lost in the depths of prehistory and in ancient pre-Hellenic myths.

The place was originally called Delphis – an ancient pre-Greek word meaning “belly” whence “DEL/FISi”, navel; the womb of the Earth – because of its shape or because the mother – goddess Earth was worshipped there even during the Mycenaean era.

The oldest finds in the Delphi area date back to the Neolithic era (4000 BC) and come from Korykeio Andros, a cave on Parnassos, where the first cults developed.

Towards the end of the 1st century BC, stone temples were still built, one dedicated to Apollo and the other to Athena, who was also officially worshipped and had her own mosque.

According to philological evidence and archaeological finds, Apollo’s sister Artemis, Poseidon, Dionysus, Hermes, Zeus Polieus, Hygeia, Eileithyia (goddess of childbirth), the Graces and the Muses were also worshipped at Delphi. Apollo was the father of the Muses. Thus, their cult gained special prestige in Delphi, which was the most important center of the Apollonian religion.
