When 300 teachers from Albania, in Kosovo and other Albanian regions opened schools in the Albanian language (1941-1944)

In the years 1941 to 1944, over 300 teachers from Albania responded to the order of Ernest Koliqi, minister at the time, to go to Kosovo to open schools in the Albanian language. Among them were 170 Elbasan residents who had graduated from the Elbasan Normal School.

This status is dedicated to the teacher Jorgi Bekteshi who contributed to Kercove. Honor and respect for their great work for teaching our native language and awakening national sentiment.
