The Montenegrin invasion of the Albanian region of Vermosh in 1914

In 1914, the Serbo-Montenegrin forces, after having invaded northern Albanian territories since 1912-1913, killing 150,000 Albanians, decoded to also invade Vermoshë. This according to the French newspaper “L’Ouest Eclair” from the same year. We know from other sources at the time that thousands of Albanians were killed by the Serbs and Montenegrins, continuing the cycle of atrocities carried out during the Balkan War.
