According to the book “Geschichte des Fürstentums Montenegro Von der ältesten Zeit bis zum Jahr 1852” by Alexander Andric, 2015, we can read of various Montenegrin plunders and attacks on the Albanians of Podgorica, Ubli and Shpuz carried out in 1850-1851.
Montenegrin troops attack the Albanians of Podgorica and Spuž (Shpuz).
On April 9, 1850, the Montenegrins attacked the inhabitants of Podgorica and Spuž. The Albanians confronted them with some regular infantry. The battle lasted three hours. The enemy lost 8 dead and just as many wounded. The Montenegrins counted 3 dead and several wounded.
Montenegrins attack the Albanian village of Ubli
On September 16, 1850, 300 to 400 Montenegrins from Lepa and Čevo, under the leadership of Draga and Hassan Kesafro Roganović, fell upon the Turkish village of Ubli, which lies on the road leading toward Zubci, and drove off 20 horses, 40 oxen, and 400 pieces of small livestock. The Turks pursued them as far as Grabovo, but the Montenegrins offered strong resistance and, after suffering 4 wounded, reached home safely.
