Albanian martyrs Rexhep Cakë Hasanaj and Ali Mete Pozhari

This article is dedicated to the two fighters of the Albanian forces who resisted the Serbian Cetnik attacks in World War II. Ali Met Pozhari came from a patriotic family that gave a lot for the Albanian cause and is the head of the Berisha tribe. Rexhep Cakë Hasanaj came from a patriotic family of the Bekëhasan of Lower Ratish. He was sentenced to death by the Yugoslav regime in 1946. Descendants of the family are Met Alia and Asllan Rexhepi.
