Veliki Radojko Đuričanin: Serbian Chetniks participated in the Massacre of Velika and Polimje in 1944

According to Radojko Đuričanin, eyewitness to the Velika massacre of July 28, 1944, Serbian Chetniks participated in the killings of civilians in Polimje and Velike.

Quote:

“VELIKI RADOJKO ĐURIČANIN, EYEWITNESS TO THE MASSACRE OF JULY 28, 1944, LUCKILY SURVIVED

“The Chetniks, leaving the Lim Valley with the Germans, according to Partisan war documents, were merciless in their reprisals against the “Partisan-oriented population” in Polimlje and Velika, and according to the Germans, they were guides for the Germans, or they “helped them to find their way around the field more easily.” It is further stated that Radonja Labović’s Chetniks, in the role of an advance guard that scouted the terrain in search of German troops in Polimlje and in the direction of Čakor… assured the population “that nothing would happen to them” from the German army…”
