Why does the National Museum of Belgrad keep an Albanian Dardanian gold ring of Non-Slavic and Non-Serbian origin?

The Albanian Father Shtjefën Gjeqovi once wrote: “And so much of our heritage ended up in the hands of foreigners”. The question we could ask is why the National Museum of Belgrad is keeping an Albanian and Illyrian-Dardanian gold ring? It is not from the Slavic era, and should thus be returned to the culture and people that it belongs to.
