Albanian hero Hasan Rizë Muriqi of Koshutan of Rugova (killed in 1947 by the Yugoslav regime)

Hasan Riz Muriqi, son of Riz Zymer, was born in the village of Koshutan into a large and noble family of Zymer Selmanaj, where generation after generation fought against foreign invaders.

Hasan was a young man who graduated from the School of Normala in Albania, capable and educated. Hasan was betrayed and killed in the village of Koshutan 3 days after the Serbian regime also killed his father Rizë Zymeri ( in 1947.
