Fatmir Shatri writes:
“This is the German general Helmut Harff, who in June 1999, led the German troops entering the Dardania. Legendary is the debate between General Harff and a commander of the bloody Serbian army, who
refused to leave the border point of Morina.
“How many minutes do you need to leave?”….the general asks the infamous Serbian commander.
“Six hours”… the Chetnik commander replies.
“That is not possible. I give you 30 minutes to leave”…, said the German general
“But we need a document that we are leaving behind the ammunition”…again a reply from the Chetnik leader
“This is an order” said the German commander
“Time is running out, you have 28 minutes left”….end of discussion!”
After this discussion, the barbarian hordes leave Dardania, never to return to this land that they had washed with blood.
We will be grateful to this man of the German nation for life and eternity.
Glory to General Helmut Harff.”
