Evidence that the Albanian was written in Letnica in 1846 before the Congress of Manastir in 1908

This is a photo of a grave in Letnica, and is an irreplaceable monument of the Albanian language in Kosovo discovered by the two authors Albert Gjoni and Florian Sadria together. This is evidence that Albanian was written in Letnica before the Congress of Monastery (1908). Published for the first time on 06.11.2023 here on the official website of Letnica.

Tomb inscription:

KTU PUSCOIN (PUSHOJN)ESTCNAT (ESHNAT) E Dionicit Ivanit qe leu nvjet 1846 nvjet 1898 n’Letnic”

translation: “HERE WE PUSH (PUSHOJN)ESTCNAT (ESHNAT) OF Dionicit Ivanit who died in 1846 ….. in 1898 in Letnic”
