The Great Greek Encyclopedia, Volume 19, states:

Translation:

“The ancestors of today’s Albanians, the Pelasgians, have inhabited, since prehistoric times, most of the world that was known at that time, developing a very important civilization and constructing works of colossal value, which they left as a legacy to humanity.”

Original text:

“Οι πρόγονοι των σημερινών Αλβανών, οι Πελασγοί, έζησαν από τα προϊστορικά χρόνια στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος του κόσμου που ήταν γνωστό τότε, αναπτύσσοντας έναν πολύ σημαντικό πολιτισμό και χτίζοντας έργα κολοσσιαίας αξίας, τα οποία κληροδότησαν στην ανθρωπότητα.”
