In the mountains of Berisha and Klecka, innocent women, children and elderly people were forced to hide to escape the offensives and shelling of the Serbian killer militia.

Without bread, without water and surrounded by constant fear, they experienced days of suffering and survival in inhuman conditions. These authentic images reflect the drama of that period, testifying to the sacrifice, pain and resistance of the Albanian people in one of the darkest phases of the war.
