The war in Kosovo began on January 1, 1998. This is the new date for this historical issue, which is being decided for the first time and this is done by a Norwegian soldier, who today is the greatest, if not the only, fact-finder of the greatest war in Kosovo. Human tragedy. Through his second book “What Happened in Kosovo, 1998-1999”, Josef Martinsen proves that there was genocide in Kosovo, while much evidence was hidden or prevented from being collected by UNMIK.
He admits that Albanians, once victims, through Serbian and UNMIK propaganda, influenced the West to start seeing Serbs as victims, and Albanians as victimizers. The main scenario was realized by UNMIK through the concealment of evidence of Serbia’s genocide against Albanians. And for this no one has been held accountable to this day. But it is strange why the Albanians have not yet managed to write a book of their own.
No author, no intellectual and no institute or institution has created any book of evidence of the last Serbian violence of biblical proportions, where in addition to the murders, Serbia for the first time was almost ready to carry out the complete expulsion of Albanians, after the 1878 uprising, during the First World War, the 1930s of the 20th century and the years 1945-1965. This part of the nation’s conscience is being fulfilled by the Norwegian Martinsen, not for the sake of friendship, but because of the relations with the truth, which he and Western culture have built.
You, Mr. Martinsen, are in Kosovo, this time for a new mission, a continuation of the second mission, for a second book about the war in Kosovo. What prompted you to embark on this project for a book, which is sorely lacking not only among Albanians themselves, but also in terms of external information, the world, about what happened in Kosovo during the war?
Martinsen: “The main thing that prompted me is that when I published the first book “The Wells of Death”, I saw that unfortunately there is a great indifference regarding the issue of Albanians here in Kosovo.”
