The Albanian language is a centric language that enjoys both the properties of Centium and Satem, so the Albanian language remains the Mother of all IE languages.
The canonical Centum languages of the Indo-European family are the “western” sub-branches: such as [Germanic] [Celtic] [Italic] and [Hellenic].
The Satem languages belong to the eastern sub-families, specifically [Indo-Iranian] and [Balto-Slavic] (but not [Tocharian], with Indo-Iranian being the main Asian branch and Balto-Slavic being the main European branch of the Satem group.
