Abstract
This article collects reports from Serbia and abroad about documented cases of zoophilia. Zoophilia involves sexual abuse of animals, which is both illegal and ethically unacceptable. These cases have attracted media attention because of the serious harm inflicted on the animals. It is important to emphasize that such actions cannot be justified; they are harmful and highlight the need for stricter legislation and increased awareness.

The capital Belgrade is said to be a hotspot for ‘zoophiles’ who enjoy sex with animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys, dogs, cats, geese and cows.
Online adverts offer animal sex from between 70 and 150 Euros (£60 to £135) with visitors paying an extra 50 Euros (£45) to film themselves, it is claimed.
An investigation into the horrifying trend was broadcast by TV channel RTL recently.

Brits are among a growing number of sick tourists travelling to Serbia for sex at ‘animal brothels’, it has been claimed.
The capital Belgrade is said to be a hotspot for ‘zoophiles’ who enjoy sex with animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys, dogs, cats, geese and cows.

(24) sexually abuses his goat and on videos simulates sex with an innocent animal, telling it all sorts of nasty things, and what is even more terrifying is that the mentioned young man publicly boasted that he works as a children’s animator in a kindergarten, the Leviathan Movement Foundation points out!

– Stanarevic has a YouTube channel under the name “Gaga Styles” and as many as 15,000 followers, who are amused by his illnesses that he performs with animals and with his goat, which he named Milka – Pavle Bihali, executive director of the Leviathan Movement Foundation, tells Kurir.

Bihali points out that what Stanarevic is doing goes beyond the realm of jokes, and that he should be hospitalized immediately.
– It is definitely sexual abuse. The man is sick! We don’t have footage of him having sex with the goat, but it’s enough for us to see him simulating sex with that poor, unfortunate animal. He even created a Facebook page for that goat under the name Milka Stanarević and marked that he is married to her! There is also a video where he puts the goat’s head on his genitals, with the comments “you will smoke my cock”, “I will put your cock in your mouth” – says Bihali.

He adds that Stanarevic also uses a weapon in one of his clips, that is, he pointed a gun at his own head. Bihali notes that these matters should be dealt with by the police, but that their foundation will file a report with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office today.

– It is fascinating that YouTube and Facebook do not take down such clips, but they remove our posts that talk about abusers. We have information that Stanarević was employed as an animator in a kindergarten on the outskirts of Belgrade, we are still checking and investigating that – says Bihali and adds:
– It is definite that he entered the kindergarten, and now we don’t know what is worse – if he entered alone, and they get engaged in the playroom, or if someone hired him. Of course, now all the kindergarten directors will protect themselves and no one will admit and say that it is not him, because he has that mask. He himself publicly boasted on his Instagram profile of a picture from a kindergarten in a Spider-Man costume, and you can see a child next to it. That is what is visible, a kindergarten or a playroom, it doesn’t matter what it is, in any case it has contact with children, which is unacceptable!
Prison for sexual abuse of animals
– sexual abuse of animals is defined by the Animal Welfare Act as part of physical abuse
– according to the Criminal Code, if a person abuses one animal, a sanction of up to one year in prison is provided
– if several animals are involved, the penalty is up to three years, and it can also be a fine
– a fine for animal abuse from 100,000 to one million dinars for legal entities
– a fine for animal abuse from 5,000 to 50,000 dinars for a natural person

PANCEVO – A video on Facebook that horrified Serbia, showing a car driver torturing a donkey by frantically dragging it along the road, reached the Pancevo prosecutor’s office, which ordered the police to collect information about the driver who tortured the unfortunate animal.
In the Criminal Code there is a criminal offense – Killing and abusing animals, and it is stated that “Whoever violates the regulations kills, injures, tortures or otherwise abuses an animal, will be punished by a fine or imprisonment for up to one year.”
After reviewing the footage, the prosecution ordered the police to collect information about this case, that is, statements from the actors.
After the police report, the prosecution will determine the basis for further action according to the law. According to some information, the torture of the donkey was filmed on the territory of the city of Pancevo. Most likely somewhere towards Jabuca…

In Montenegro, a 32 y/o russian IT specialist and zoophile, Artem Vertov, was arrested. He ran several bestiality websites specifically with dogs. He also claims a dog as his wife. He is being deported back to russia.
Based on reports in November 2025, Artem Vertov, a 32-year-old Russian IT specialist, was arrested in Montenegro for operating multiple websites dedicated to bestiality, specifically involving dogs.
Following his arrest, it was reported that Vertov claims to be married to a dog and was in the process of being deported back to Russia.
This incident comes amidst rising reports of zoophilia-related crimes in Eastern Europe and increasing scrutiny of cybersecurity breaches, with reports noting that Montenegro and the broader Balkan region are becoming transit routes for specialized criminal activity involving Eastern European citizens.
