Albania, with an IQ level of 101.00, ranks first in the Balkans as the most intelligent nation.

According to a ranking by country for 2026 by IQ Test , Serbia comes next with 99.83.

In third place is Greece with 99.55, followed by Croatia with 99.32.

North Macedonia and Romania score high intelligence levels with 98.88 each, followed by Montenegro with 98.43.

The “lowest” intelligence level in the Balkans is recorded by Bosnia and Herzegovina with 97.13 and, most recently, Bulgaria with 96.54.

Returning attention to our country, Albania ranks 22nd in the world in terms of intelligence among 137 countries, leaving behind Switzerland, Italy, France and Greece.
